In January 2019 Mady joined DGF as Director of Development to enhance and execute a long-term strategic fundraising plan and engage a new coterie of philanthropists in DGF’s mission.
Mady provides more than thirty years of executive external relations and development experience in capital campaigns, major gifts, grantsmanship, and planned giving, garnered at respected cultural, healthcare, educational and social service organizations and institutions. She brings an impressive history and commitment to the nonprofit arena from tenures at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, 92 nd Street Y, NYU/Stern School of Business, Planned Parenthood of NYC, and the American Cancer Society, among others.
Mady holds a B.A. from Wheaton College (Norton, MA) and earned an M.A. and ABD from New York University in Theater History. A native New Yorker, she lives with her spouse in New York City and Amagansett. An active volunteer, Mady provides ongoing pro bono fund raising and management assistance to a number of non-profits in New York and on the East End of Long Island. She is an avid theater-goer and passionate supporter, championing its role as a change agent for society’s good.
