Kamiah Vickers

Kamiah Vickers (she/her), a playwright and actress based in the heart of New York City, has felt a profound calling to share stories from a young age. Her time at New York University solidified the importance of her voice, culminating in the productions of her original plays. She discovered a passion for crafting diverse characters that amplify typically muted voices, encompassing various aspects of life. Her original plays have been produced at New York Theatre Festival, New York University, Bed-Stuy Art House, The Flea Theater, and more. Kamiah aims to not only leave her mark, but also foster opportunities for emerging artists and inspire the upcoming generation of theater artists. Kamiah is honored to be able to contribute to the Dramatists Guild Foundation. @kamiah.vickers
