Heanok Semere

Heanok Semere (he/him) is a photographer, filmmaker, and writer from Denver, CO. He has several years of experience working in Public Relations, specifically with clients and non-profit organizations focusing on social justice and equity. Heanok has been a Production Assistant on several short films and feature-length documentaries throughout the years. He has also been a member of the cast and crew of multiple theater productions and has a passion for theater. Heanok is honored to be a part of DGF and excited to aid artists and writers have their stories come to light through the resources DGF provides, especially the stories of marginalized voices. He aims to create an inclusive and uplifting environment for writers and artists. Heanok received a BA in International Studies from the University of Colorado – Denver.
