Rachel Axler

Rachel Axler is a nice, short person who has won two Emmys. Her plays include Smudge (O’Neill NPC 2008, Women’s Project 2010) and Archaeology (The Kitchen Theatre, 2009), as well short pieces for Chalk Rep and Urban Arts Partnership/24 Hour Plays, in recent years.
For television, Rachel has written for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Parks and Recreation, How I Met Your Mother, Childrens Hospital and a bunch of other great shows.

She received her BA from Williams College and her MFA in Playwriting from UCSD, and no, she didn’t forget the apostrophe in “Childrens.”
