Aurin Squire

Aurin Squire is a reporter, activist, and playwright, reporter in the Lila Acheson Wallace Playwriting Fellowship at The Juilliard School. His plays have been performed in the United States, Canada, Great Britain, and in Europe. His comedy “Defacing Michael Jackson” was awarded the Act One Prize from Lincoln Center in 2014. Squire’s drama “Freefalling” was first performed at Barrington Stage, won the Fiat Lux Prize from the New York Catholic Church, and 1st prize in the InspiraTO Festival in Toronto. He has fellowships at National Black Theatre and Brooklyn Arts Exchange.
