The Gala is the most critical fundraising event for the Dramatists Guild Foundation. This very special evening pays tribute to legendary writers and recognizes their significant contributions to theater in America.

This year, DGF is thrilled to honor legendary director and producer Hal Prince; President and CEO of Shiseido Americas, Marc Rey; and visionary fashion designer Jason Wu for their love and support for the arts.

The DGF Gala will be held on Monday, November 6, 2017
at Gotham Hall, 1356 Broadway, New York City. There will be a cocktail reception at 6:30 and the Dinner and Celebration will begin at 7:30.

 

Past performers include Kristin Chenoweth, Joel Grey, Jeremy Jordan, Liza Minnelli, Bebe Neuwirth, Kelli O’Hara, Bernadette Peters, Chita Rivera, Ben Vereen and more!

Past honorees include patrons of the arts Rosie O’Donnell, Louise Camuto, Lynne Greene, Heidi Ettinger, Don Loftus, Ann Gottlieb, and Roe Green for their support of emerging writers for the theater.
